What we fund, and what the assessment looks at.
No fixed menu of products. One kind of funding, sized against what the business banks, priced against how steady that is.
The one product
Working capital advanced against the trading record of the business and repaid out of it. There is no separate line for equipment, no different paperwork for stock and no second application if the reason changes between the day you apply and the day the money lands. What the funds are for is asked because it is useful context, not because it decides the answer.
The amounts
Files here usually sit between a few thousand and several hundred thousand dollars. The figure is worked out from monthly deposits rather than chosen from a list, so the useful question is not how much you can get but what the statements will support. A business banking forty thousand a month is in a different conversation from one banking four.
What the assessment reads
- Deposits across three months. How much arrives, how often, and whether the pattern is steady or lumpy. This carries more weight than anything else on the file.
- How long the business has traded. Three months of deposits is the practical floor. Longer histories are easier to read.
- What is already being repaid. An outstanding advance is normal and is not on its own a reason to decline; it changes what can be added on top.
- The credit picture, as a range. Asked for context. A thin file or an old difficulty does not end the conversation.
- The entity and the ownership. Who signs, and on behalf of what. This is a formality, but it has to be right.
What the cost looks like
You are told the amount advanced, the total that will be repaid, the instalment and how many of them there are, before you sign anything. Those four figures are the whole of it. If something about the structure is unusual, whoever is handling your file explains it on the phone rather than leaving it in a document for you to find.
Where we usually cannot help
- Businesses with no business bank account, or that bank entirely through a personal account.
- Start-ups with no trading deposits at all. Come back once there are three months of them.
- Sums intended for a household rather than a trading operation. What is arranged here is commercial throughout.
- Industries our funding partners are not permitted to serve. If that is the position, you are told plainly rather than left waiting.
After the money lands
Repayment begins on the schedule you signed. If trading changes sharply, call before a payment is missed rather than after; there is usually more that can be done in front of a problem than behind it. Businesses that repay cleanly can generally come back for more, and the second file moves faster because the record is already here.
