The firm, and how it works.
A small funding office. One person on a file from the first entry to the last payment.
What we are
Blackstone Point Holdings arranges working capital for established small businesses in the United States. We assess an application, put it in front of the funding partners most likely to take it, and stay with it through signing and funding. We are not a bank and we are not a marketplace that sells your details on to whoever bids for them.
How the money reaches you
Funding is provided by partner funders. What that means in practice is that the agreement you sign is with the funder, while the work of assembling the file, reading it honestly and arguing it is ours. It also means a file that one partner declines can sometimes be placed with another, which is a large part of the value of going through an office rather than to a single lender.
Who you deal with
Whoever opens your file is who calls you about it. There is no handover to a closing team and no second person asking the same questions again. If that person is away, whoever picks it up has already read the file.
What we will not do
- Charge a fee to look at an application.
- Run a hard credit check to give an answer.
- Ask anybody for a banking password. Statements arrive as exported PDFs.
- Treat an entry as a saleable asset. It serves this assessment and the funding drawn from it, and serves nothing beyond that.
- Quote a figure we cannot stand behind.
Commercial funding only
Everything arranged at this office is commercial. It falls outside consumer credit, none of that regime's protections attach to it, and it may not be spent on a household. Where personal borrowing is the real need, this is the wrong door - better read here than discovered after an entry.
